Who is Jesus Christ? What Did Jesus Say About the Church?

Who is Jesus Christ? Jesus is the son of the holy God of heaven the creator and the maker of the universe. We can say Jesus is the superhero of all mankind, meaning Jesus is everything to us as humans, Jesus is all in all, pure and holy without sin. When we read the bible it said in John 3:16 is probably the most well-known Bible verse: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” To understand this verse, we need to go back to the origin of this verse. In the book of Genesis chapter 2 starts with verse 4 it mentioned how God created man and woman, then in verse 17 same chapter, God told the man not to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God says to the man if you eat you will die.

The first introduction of Jesus the son of God

God loved us so much even after the serpent’s deceptions and Adam and Eve sin in the garden of Eden God did not want to kill Adam’s and Eve’s right away as He promised in Genesis 2:17 but He is a faithful God and since God cannot lie someone has to die. The one who died for our sins and who took our place His name is Jesus Christ. In Genesis 3:15, NIV: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.'" God is telling the serpent’s which is Satan (Lucifer) who took the serpent’s form or body, “He will crush your head” meaning When Jesus comes to health he will have the ultimate victory over Satan.

Is Jesus God or a Prophet?

Jesus is not a prophet He is God, if Jesus is not God then, therefore, his death would not have been sufficient enough to pay for our sins. Only God can forgive our sins, the bible says in John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Only God could take on the sins of the world, die, and be resurrected on the 3 days has promised then took the key of death from Satan. That is why Jesus said in John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Jesus followers declared his God and Jesus himself declared he is God ( John 10:30, Jhon 1:1, Acts 20:28, Jhon 20:28, 2 Peter 1:1). In Mark 2:5-7 Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” It is important to know Jesus is God and accept him as God because heaven is real, and there’s only one way to get there is through Jesus  (Acts 4:12) “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” We all sin, and we all live a sinful life but to receive salvation we need to accept Jesus as our savior. The fact that he died for our sins, we are free to ask him to forgive our sins only if we believe in him and we must put our trust in Him.

Ø  What Did Jesus Say About the Church?

Jesus is only recorded as talking about “church” twice (Matthew 16:18 and Matthew 18:15-17). The Greek word used for “church” in these verses can also be translated accurately as “community”.

·         Matthew 16:18

Matthew 16:18, NIV: "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."

Matthew 16:18, ESV: "And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Matthew 16:18, KJV: "And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Matthew 16:18, NASB: "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock, I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it."

Matthew 16:18, NLT: "Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means 'rock'), and upon this rock, I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it."

Matthew 16:18, CSB: "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it."

Here in Matthew 16:18, Jesus is responding to Peter's declaration that He is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

As per church, why should we need to thank God for the little things?

We all live in a world which moving too fast. Every day we do lots of things, meet many people. When we are facing a failure, dissatisfaction, breakdown, disruption, regret, etc. At our bedtime, we go to church at the house of GOD and pray to GOD to help us in our difficult times, but how many times do we thank GOD back after we survive our bedtime or in over good time? Statistics showed that 75% of parents are so busy that they do not have enough time to spend with their kids or themselves, not alone have time for devotions, and to thank God in the midst of it all. We know the busyness of life usually takes us away from acknowledging God even in the smallest thing of life. Sometimes we may even hear or feel the Holy Spirit tugging at us but we are even too busy to listen to the Holy Spirit within us. Do not worry we will help you find a way to thank or acknowledge God for everything He does for you daily.   Church says, "GOD gives us a beautiful life. We should manage some ti

Does God exist?

God is always with us and give us many signs of His existance. follow us at  House of God Someone has a question does God exist? The answer is yes, it is. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 19:1-3, NKJV. “ The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech; they use no words; no sound is heard from them. ” The universe and revelation testify there is a God. Everything around us is a sign of God existence. For example, the air we breathe, the sun and the moon that give us light, the stars, all the planets, and more are signs of God wisdom and they declare the glory of God. If anyone does not believe in God existence he/she does not have the Holy spirit dwell in them. Isaiah 11:1-3 “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” We too can have
